Team Rocket is a gruop of Pokémon snatchers. Now,they don't dislike them at all! James,Jessie,and Meowth are out to find the rarest types of Pokémon they can grab! They frequently appear because after the first showdown with Ash in Viridian city,they saw how valuable Pikachu is! So now they want him most of all,and other rare Pokémon!

The only thing is,they almost NEVER do anything right! They always screw up and end up beat up or scared and run away! They talk very big,and whenever Team Rocket shows up they do their 'speech'! (Jessie:"Never interupt the Team Rocket motto!")

Jessie: To protect the world from devistation..

James: To unite all peoples within our nation..

Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!

James: To extend our reach to the stars above!

Jessie: Jessie!

James: James!

Jessie: Team Rocket! Blast off at the speed of light!

James: Surrender now or prepare to fight!

Meowth: Meowth! That's right!

Isn't that funny? ^_^ And they do it all the time,and in some episodes,even when they're NOT confronting Ash or anybody! Now that's plain weird! However,even Jessie and James aren't so evil as to actually hurt anyone,they just want pokémon!

In one episode,(14) Pikachu is injured from battling against a Raichu,the evolved form of Pikachu. Ash and Pikachu decide they want to fight again for the badge,and Joy comes in with a thunderstone. (They are in the hospital,Pikachu in bandages,and the thunderstone can make Pikachu evolve) Ash lets Pikachu decide,and Team Rocket is by the window watching. Meowth translates what Pikachu is saying as Pikachu smacks the stone away,claiming it will fight against Raichu wihtout evolving because it is happier as Pikachu. Meowth tells them what is going on,and he starts to cry. James does too,and Jessie's eyes are just wiggling.:p (James: "That's beutiful! It's so brave!" and later "How magnificant!" )

Later on,as Pikachu and Ash have a good strategy,they bump into two people and their Pokémon,(It is Jessie and James)They are in a disguise,and do a dorky cheer for Pikachu! ("Pi ka chu! We want you!") They run off,and Brock says"THAT was very disturbing." Misty:"Thanks for the cheer! Bye ,Team Rocket!") Very funny scene! (just little thoughts..) They also plotted something against their own boss for a vacation,and while they were discussing it,they even admitted to failing so much..aww..!

James James is the male of the group, also recognized as a whiner or cross-dresser.

Jessie Jessie is James partner, and just about the opposite of him.

Cassidy and Butch The other members of the team. Cassidy and Butch may appear rarely,but they are important! (Especially to Neoshippers!)

Mondo Excluded from the show,Mondo only makes his appearance in a CD and book.
